The Model HI121 conventional heat detector from Siemens – Fire Safety is a programmable thermal detection device that incorporates an alarm-event threshold of 135 degrees Fahrenheit (57.2 degrees Celsius) at either fixed or rate-of-rise settings.
This detector-type is commonly used on the following Siemens – Fire Safety fire alarm control panels: TXR-320, System 3 and SXL. Model OH121 contains a magnet-test feature, and has optional relay and sounder bases.
Model HI121 is UL 268, ULC S529 Listed, as well as Factory Mutual (FM) and California State Fire Marshals’ (CSFM) Approved.
This detector-type from Siemens ─ Fire Safety is a thermal detector that comes with
a new magnet-test feature. The magnet-test feature allows for Model HI121 to be
tested without the use of a heat gun, providing quick testing for installers and test
personnel to prove the integrity of the wiring and proper connection to the fire
alarm control panel (FACP).
An indication of supervision status is provided by Siemens Fire’s unique (3) threecolor light-emitting diode (LED) provided locally on the detector ─ and optionally
with the various remote LED indicators.
